Welcome to the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services for the District of New Hampshire, Offender Workforce Development web site. We have been working hard to increase employment opportunities for individuals on federal supervision.

Meaningful employment is a vital component to the success of an offender; however, given their circumstances, there are many barriers that this population confronts in the professional world. We have taken different approaches in addressing this in the District of New Hampshire, including training courses that are specifically tailored for the population, counseling an offender in addressing their situation with an employer, partnerships with career services and employers, as well as job fairs and other events.

The information you will find in the Offender Workforce Program portion of the website will provide basic educational information regarding the offender population. It also contains information on different employment resources.
